Mom and Dad and Jonas each had an epic Southern California commute home yesterday, the type that would test the patience of even the most patient of drivers. But after finally arriving after a long day of work and daycare, we all managed to squeeze in a little playtime, and Jonas was back to his usual giggly self, even messing with Mom in the process.
The first few commutes will be the hardest. Take turns sitting in the back with your charmer. Read to him, sing to him, play peek-a -boo with him! It will make the drive seem shorter for you and your little guy. Sorry to the chauffeur- I mean driver who sits alone, but I'm sure both your little guy and you will love the focused time as well as the "creative" way to work in play time.
