Over the summer, one of Dad's former editors from Long Beach came to visit and gave Jonas a very special gift—his very own news van. Since then, "news van" has become as common a transportation phrase around here as fire truck, police car or school bus. On Christmas Eve at Jonas' Mima's house, the Big Guy opened a gift from one of his uncles and aunts that showed images of various public safety vehicles. In this Bonus Jonas video clip, you can see a proud Jonas identify all sorts of vehicles and aircraft that he spots on the book's pages. But perhaps no vehicle makes Dad as proud as the news van that Jonas also seems particularly excited about seeing.
