Baby of the Cloth

Since we first brought Jonas home, we've kept a plentiful supply of cloth diapers around the house. We've never used them for their intended purpose. Rather, as someone had suggested to us early on, we've used them as a potential catch-all for cleaning up whatever fluids might come spewing at moment's notice. They've come in handy. Jonas is still a pro at spitting up, as Mom could attest to yesterday over the course of the entire day. The cloth diapers seem to come in handy for soaking up whatever comes out of his mouth. But lately, it's the cloth that's going back into his mouth. Forget about any fancy blankets we may have for him. It seems all he wants to do these days is hold on to these pieces of cloth and, should he ever release his fingers, cram them into his mouth.
