Back Rub

The other week, Mom bought some fun balls with nubs all around them (seems appropriate for the former Nub...) that Jonas really seems to enjoy. He can pick them up, roll them, put them in his mouth — all the fun stuff. But when Mom started rolling the ball around on his back, Jonas found heaven. He will lay quietly for an incredibly long stretch if someone is giving him the magic back rub, letting the many stresses of his day just float away. Those memories of Mom and Dad forcing him to nap? All gone. That time he cheesed all over himself and Mom and Dad after an aggressive burp? What burp, I don't remember. Diaper feeling a bit uncomfortable? Oh, it can wait. Just keep rolling the ball, keep rolling the ball, keep...

  1. That's awesome. The other night, when Hunter was having a hard time falling asleep, I gave him a backrub. He said, "This feels like happiness." I bet Jonas, could he speak, would say something similar. :)
