Living Room Fun

Yesterday was raining here, so the beach had to wait for another day. But not to worry. There was too much fun to have around Nana and Papa's house. And that began with the largest staircase Jonas had ever seen. Mom, Papa and Cousin Julia were on hand in case anything happened, but Jonas seemed to say: "Out of my way Mom, I got this..."

Jonas' Mima in Colorado has two little dogs that the Big Guy likes to mess around with, but Jonas seemed to become attached to his Nana's "dog" Flossie. There may have been something off about the way this dog moved, but Jonas didn't seem to mind, petting her gently...

...Julia came by to play as well, taking a liking to a wagon that Nana and Papa got for them. And it wasn't long until Jonas showed off his brute strength, pushing Julia and some toys around the living room...

...next Jonas took off to discover the funky carpeted levels of the living room, working himself into a crazy split as he tried to navigate his way up...

...but once he got up there, other surprises awaited, including Dad reading a book that Uncle Eric let Jonas check out, a book about the history of Corvettes. You'd think it was a history of the world the way Jonas took to this book...

...and as always, after a morning of activity, it was time to slow down at the end. So Jonas grabbed himself a truck and found himself a nice little spot under a shady tree to think about the next adventures that awaited.
